Signs & Menus

Bodhi Bakery

The owner of Bodhi signed us on to create the hanging menus for their new downtown Corvallis business. They had opened without having large, overhead signage and quickly figured out it was necessary.

We were tasked with organizing the different menu options onto four menu boards. Since many of the items had different sizes available, and the prices for items varied within the same category, we had our work cut out for us from a design perspective. The owner wanted to use their brand colors – black and white – and to keep a clean and simple design. The only imagery we chose to use was their brand’s logo icon. We also had custom distressed wood frames made for the menus, selected to match the organic, eclectic vibe of the eatery.

Allison

Pear Tree Salon

The owner of Pear Tree Salon came to us during a rebrand of her salon. She had decided on her new logo and needed new storefront signs. Since her salon had dark exterior paint, she knew she wanted a white sign.

We were able to import her logo and clean it up for large format. Since she offered hair, skin, and nail services at the salon, we suggested she incorporate those words on the sign to be clear with passerbyers what to expect inside. We wanted those words to have a connection to the pear in her logo, so we pulled out the tone of green from that element and used it to tie into her brand colors.

Moore Family Seed Butter

This startup came to us needing to develop a food label for their seed butter. They were pitching to local grocery stores to get their product on shelves and needed a polished appearance for their packaging.

We designed the label to incorporate their logo, chose a color palette to convey it’s organic ingredients, and added the nutrition facts to include all FDA required elements. The container they were going to use was circular and tapered, so it was larger at the top than the bottom. This meant we needed to make the label a special U-shape rather than rectangular. This would allow the label to wrap the width of the container without leaving creases caused by wrapping something with a straight-edge around a circular object.
