The Fat Kitty logo and name is inspired by the Maneki-neko, the famous Japanese cat statue that represents luck and good fortune. We took this familiar element and customized it for his logo mark. The colors we chose for the brand palette also support the traditional colors of Japan, red and gold. This project was fun, building a brand around both Justin’s heritage and the food he serves.

On the website, she wanted both a sales page that allowed users to purchase her book and to incorporate her blog. She is a routine blogger with subscribers, using it for both creative writing and writing samples. Because Jane had a goal to make her website and book more findable, she invested in SEO services to enhance the backend to create a better relationship with search engines.

Through copywriting services, we gathered content ideas from interviews with several members of VIC. We also worked with the executive director to gather photos at job sites and client outings, as well as testimonials from participants. Additionally, we assisted them in digitalizing their volunteer intake process by creating an online form and integrating a donation platform to facilitate online donations.

We worked with them to update all the content, pulling what was on the current website off and deleting, enhancing, or adding to it. After hearing what common complaints users had about the old website’s navigation, we also helped them better organize their pages to allow users to find what they need faster.

With three distinct businesses under their umbrella, Gerding Companies knew there was confusion around how those businesses all worked together. We met with the CEO and interviewed him to gather content for the new website, collecting his vision for all parts of the whole and understanding the values and ethos of the company. The result was a website that spoke about the work they do, how they impact their community, and the benefits of working at and with Gerding Companies.

He had an existing logo, and we expanded the brand’s color palette around the colors in the logo for use on the website. Then, we created content for his website after an informational interview with Jon. The final product was a clean and simple site that informed and allowed people to easily connect with him.

After choosing a template she liked the look and feel of, we customized that template to fit her needs. We incorporated her brand’s colors onto the site, from a palette we created for her from some of her favorite colors to use in her art. Since she was not sure how to tell her story, her build included us writing all the content for her site after an informational interview. This site was a lot of fun because of the high creativity Courtney brought to the table and her trust in us to create the site that fostered the feelings of that creativity.
