CSC Garden Sign
The CSC Youth House has a garden used for educational purposes by the participants that learn at the facility. The raised beds sit in an area on a downtown street corner and are a mystery to many passerbyers. For this reason, CSC decided a sign was in order!

The sign served a dual purpose; to educate people on what the gardens were and who maintained them, as well as educate the community about the organization as a whole. The graphic we included was also designed by us to help illustrate the vast reach CSC has in our communities. The QR code we added to the sign was to offer another touchpoint for people to explore CSC’s services on the go.

CSC Youth House Sign
A satellite location of CSC, located in downtown Corvallis, was in need of a sign, considering the former house didn’t stand out as a place of business.

We considered the existing color of the building and concluded that the sign needed to be white in order to pop off the background. Since the house stands 15 feet from the road, we chose the text size based on the rule of thumb that for every 10 feet of visibility, you need 72 pt font. We also wanted the sign to identify the location and send messaging about what its purpose was since it sits in a higher traffic area, thus adding the subtitle.

Twin Cedars Map
The Twin Cedars Mobile Park rebrand project involved updating their street signs. The community has nine different roads that had outdated, sunbleached signs. We redesigned the signs using elements of the new logo we created for them.

We worked with the property managers to update the details on the map. New locations had been added, some removed, and others were never identified. After receiving updated information, we digitized and branded their map, adding the new logo and color palette we had developed for them.

The property managers also wanted to ensure the signs had reflective capabilities for the safety and visibility of residents, which we coordinated with the printer. When we designed the signs, we knew that the park was a retirement community, so the font clarity and size were chosen in consideration of aging eyes.

Bodhi Bakery
The owner of Bodhi signed us on to create the hanging menus for their new downtown Corvallis business. They had opened without having large, overhead signage and quickly figured out it was necessary.

We were tasked with organizing the different menu options onto four menu boards. Since many of the items had different sizes available, and the prices for items varied within the same category, we had our work cut out for us from a design perspective. The owner wanted to use their brand colors – black and white – and to keep a clean and simple design. The only imagery we chose to use was their brand’s logo icon. We also had custom distressed wood frames made for the menus, selected to match the organic, eclectic vibe of the eatery.
